The Kansas City Chiefs are gearing up for the stretch run as they get set for this Thursday’s matchup with the Dallas Cowboys. After the thrilling comeback victory over the I Indianapolis Colts, the team is looking to add more to their growing running game.
According to a report from NFL Insider Jordan Schultz, the Chiefs are signing running back Dameon Pierce to the practice squad. The Houston Texans waived him last Thursday, and he is now reportedly the newest running back addition to Kansas City.
Pierce finished the 2024 season with 40 carries for 293 yards and two touchdowns. His most notable year to date was his rookie season in 2022, when he had over 1,100 yards from scrimmage. The 25-year-old has 10 rushes for 26 yards over four games with the Texans this year.
