The Lions have dealt with several injuries on the offensive line, though. Center Graham Glasgow, guard Tate Ratledge, and tackles Taylor Decker and Penei Sewell all appeared on the Lions' injury report ahead of the Week 13 contest, though. This has led to one of the more unforeseen results of the season, as one of the Lions best players of the last decade is coming out of retirement in their time of need.

Four-time Pro Bowl center Frank Ragnow is coming out of retirement to join the Lions in the back half of the 2025 season. The Lions posted a photo of Ragnow on X, which prompted many to wonder if that was a sign. Ian Rapoport confirmed the rumors.

"The Lions offensive line just got a lot better, as one the game's greats will return," Rapoport posted on X. "Center Frank Ragnow is returning. Sounds like he's in shape and ready to roll sooner, rather than later."

Ragnow was drafted by the Lions in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft out of Arkansas. He made Pro Bowl appearances in 2020 and 2022-24. He was also a Second-Team All-Pro three times.
