These nominees are chosen by the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association. They're listed in alphabetical order.
Levi Davis, Olentangy Orange, Sr. QB
Davis has led Orange to its winningest season ever, at 13-0 entering the state semifinals.
He has thrown for 2,016 yards and 15 TDs while running for 935 yards and 15 more touchdowns.
He's committed to Ohio University.

DeVito has the Whippets unbeaten entering the state semifinal.
He has thrown for 2,783 yards and 35 TDs and added 1,009 rushing yards and 24 TDs.
DeVito is committed to Air Force Academy.
Brayton Feister, Archbishop Hoban, Jr. LB
Feister recorded 102 tackles, including 32 for a loss, this season. He intercepted two passes, forced four fumbles, had nine sacks and scored two defensive touchdowns.
On offense, he had 895 rushing yards and 13 TDs on 9.7 yards per carry.
He has offers from Oregon, Penn State and Michigan.
Ryder Hooks, Lakota East, Sr. RB/DB
Hooks ran for 2,032 yards and 19 touchdowns this season while adding 400 receiving yards and three more scores.

Cincere Johnson, Glenville, Sr. LB
Johnson enters the state semifinal with 112 tackles, including 21 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks.
He's committed to Ohio State as a four-star recruit.
Grady Kinsey, Indian Valley, Sr. RB/LB
Kinsey is Ohio's all-time leader in total touchdowns (136) and rushing touchdowns (131).
He ran for 2,585 yards and 40 touchdowns this season entering the state semifinals after IV won the state title in 2024.

Matt Ponatoski, Archbishop Moeller, Sr. QB
Ponatoski is the reigning Mr. Football.
This season, he threw for 2,402 yards and 28 touchdowns (just one INT).
Ponatoski is committed to Kentucky to play both football and baseball.
Rocco Williams, Pickerington Central, Sr. QB
Pick Central finished 11-2 and a regional runner-up with Williams at the helm.
He threw for 2,426 yards and 28 TDs along with 610 rushing yards and nine more scores.
Williams is committed to play at Middle Tennessee State.
When is Ohio Mr. Football announced?
Mr. Football will be announced Thursday, Dec. 4 at 4 p.m., before any of the state championship games are played.
