Kennedy Catholic tops Wilmington in epic rematch

HERMITAGE, Pa. (WKBN) – Kennedy Catholic rallied past Wilmington 66-53 in girls high school basketball action on Thursday night.

The game was televised live as the WKBN High School Basketball Game of the Week.

The Golden Eagles were fueled by a 21-8 fourth quarter run to seal deal.

Tori Harvey led the Golden Eagles with 24 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 7 steals, and one blocked shot.

Bella Magestro added 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 assists, while Eternity Moss tallied 12 points and 5 rebounds in the victory.

Wilmington’s Reese Bruckner led all scorers with 27 points, including the 1,000th of her career.

Maya Jeckavitch tallied 16 points in the setback for the Greyhounds.

With the win, Kennedy Catholic has now won 15 straight games. The Golden Eagles improve to 20-1.

Wilmington drops to 18-3 on the campaign.
