Using the best build for Sparxie in Honkai: Star Rail can significantly boost the amount of damage she does to enemies as a main DPS for Elation-based teams, but you’ll also need to find the proper team to back her up. Technically speaking, Sparxie is the second playable character to follow the Elation, as she was preceded by Yao Guang. Sparxie’s release is planned for the Phase 2 banners in Honkai: Star Rail 4.0, which should start in early March.
Contrary to Yao Guang, who operates as a support for Elation parties, Sparxie is the main DPS in team comps. The streamer persona for Sparkle excels at dealing damage to enemies through her regular abilities, but also through her Elation DMG, which is amplified by her Punchline value. Sparxie in Honkai: Star Rail has a pretty straightforward build, but you’ll need to equip her with the proper gear.
Best Light Cones For Sparxie
There Are Few Options To Choose From Right Now
Sparxie shares a livestream with enemies in the background in Honkai Star Rail.
The best Light Cone for Sparxie’s build is the 5-star Dazzled by a Flowery World, her signature weapon. This Light Cone boosts the user’s CRIT DMG by a whopping 48%. Furthermore, while the user is on the field, for every Elation character on the team, the Skill Point upper limit is increased by 1, up to three SP. For every 1 Skill Point consumed by the user, they are able to ignore 5% of the enemy targets’ DEF when dealing Elation DMG, up to 4 times.
If 4 or more Skill Points are consumed in the same turn, the user gets Stream Promo, which increases all allies’ Elation value by 20%. This is perfect for Sparxie since it boosts her offensive capabilities and synergizes well with her increased Skill Point consumption. With the Light Cone, not only does she get more Skill Points to use, but she also gets bonuses from using them. Additionally, the extra Elation value for allies can benefit her, especially if you have Yao Guang in the team.
The table below lists the best builds for Sparxie in Honkai: Star Rail:
Best Build For Sparxie In Honkai: Star Rail
Light Cone
- Dazzled by a Flowery World (Best 5-star)
- Today's Good Luck (Best 4-star)
- Mushy Shroomy's Adventures (4-star alternative - F2P)
Relic & Ornament Set
Relics:
- Ever-Glorious Magical Girl (4 pieces)
Ornaments:
- Tengoku@Livestream (2 pieces)
Stat Priority
- ATK
- CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG
- Energy Regeneration Rate
Skill Priority
- Elation Skill, Skill, Talent, & Bonus Traces
- Ultimate
- Basic Attack
Seeing that a premium 5-star Light Cone can be tough to obtain, you may want to look for other options. The best 4-star Light Cone for Sparxie is Today’s Good Luck. Locked behind the Battle Pass, the Light Cone increases the user’s CRIT Rate by 12%. Additionally, when they use an Elation Skill, their Elation value is boosted by 12%, up to two times.
If you don’t purchase the Battle Pass, Mushy Shroomy’s Adventures is a viable 4-star Light Cone, and a F2P one at that. It increases the user’s Elation value by 12%, and when they use an Elation Skill, the Elation DMG taken by all enemies is boosted by 6% for two turns. This is the second-best Light Cone for Yao Guang in Honkai: Star Rail, but it can be used by Sparxie, too.
Best Light Relics, Ornaments, & Stats For Sparxie
Build The Character As A Traditional DPS

Another important aspect of Sparxie’s build is choosing the proper Relics and Ornaments with the appropriate stats. The best Relic set for Sparxie is the new Ever-Glorious Magical Girl. Its two-piece bonus grants a 16% CRIT DMG buff. With all four pieces, the Elation DMG dealt by the user and their memosprite (should they have one) ignores 10% of targets’ DEF. For each 5 accumulated Punchline that allies gain, the Elation DMG additionally ignores 1% of the targets’ DEF, up to 10 stacks.
Because she will be consuming a lot of Skill Points, much like Archer in Honkai: Star Rail, the best Ornament set for Sparxie is Tengoku@Livestream. The set’s bonus grants a 15% CRIT DMG bonus, and if 3 or more Skill Points are consumed in the sme turn, the user’s CRIT DMG is increased by 32% for 3 turns.
When farming these pieces, ATK should be Sparxie’s main stat, followed by a healthy distribution of CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG. CRIT Rate should be the priority since she already gains a ton of CRIT DMG from the Relics and Ornaments. A bit of Energy Regeneration Rate is also appreciated since you’ll be able to use her Ultimate more often and, therefore, generate more Punchline.
Best Team Comps For Sparxie
This Party Is Skill Point-Hungry
Yao Guang is flanked by Sparxie, Sparkle, and Hyacine in Honkai Star Rail.
Aside from the individual aspects of the build, Sparxie also needs a proper team comp to support her. As an Elation support, Yao Guang is the best unit to accompany Sparxie. Additionally, you’ll also want Sparkle in Honkai: Star Rail, as she can increase the team’s Skill Point cap and help restore them, making Sparxie stronger by default.
The table below shows a few team comp suggestions for Sparxie:

Elation DPS Team
- Sparxie (Elation - Fire)
- Yao Guang (Elation - Physical)
- Sparkle (Harmony - Quantum)
- Permansor Terrae (Preservation - Physical) or Hyacine (Remembrance - Wind)
Budget-Friendly (F2P) Team Comp
- Sparxie (Elation - Fire)
- Asta (Harmony - Fire)
- Trailblazer (Remembrance - Ice)
- Natasha (Abundance - Physical)
If you want to take full advantage of the extra income of Skill Points provided by both Sparkle and Sparxie, I’d recommend using Permansor Terrae in Honkai: Star Rail, too, since he is extremely SP-friendly. Otherwise, you can use characters like Hyacine, Aventurine, and possibly even Lingsha as your sustain unit.
Skill (Trace) Priority For Sparxie
You’ll Need To Fully Upgrade All Of Her Abilities
Sparxie poses as an explosion occurs behind her in Honkai Star Rail.
Upgrading Sparxie’s Traces can be a bit complicated since everything is very important. Start off by improving Sparxie’s Skill, Talent, and Elation Skill, and unlock all three of her extra Traces in her skill tree. The last two Traces to fully upgrade are her Ultimate and Basic Attack. In some character builds, you can ignore one ability or another, but this is not the case with this Fire Elation unit.
Sparxie’s build can require a bit of work put in, especially when it comes to farming. The limited number of Light Cones can also be hard to circumvent. However, overall, it may be worth it, since she is a powerful character in Honkai: Star Rail, even if I expect her to be powercrept within a few months by another Elation character.
