The honored one and a prodigy who affected the balance of the world, Gojo has a unique presence compared to the rest of the characters. However, as the story progressed, Jujutsu Kaisen managed to introduce characters who can not only fight Gojo but can also outclass him.
Although Sukuna was Satoru Gojo's quintessential challenger, Jujutsu Kaisen has many overpowered characters. However, even the Special Grade Sorcerers may not be in a position to take on Gojo head-on thanks to the overwhelming advantage his Limitless and Six Eyes give him.
That being said, at the end of Jujutsu Kaisen's story and its spin-off manga, there are a couple of characters who, thanks to their innate techniques, growth, and tactics, could surpass Gojo or at least equal him in battle.
Yuta Okkotsu

Yuta Okkotsu is hailed as the second-strongest modern sorcerer in Jujutsu Kaisen thanks to his massive amount of cursed energy, his "copy" cursed technique, and his ability to manifest Rika, displaying an astonishing power and potential to surpass Satoru Gojo. However, while Yuta was significantly below Gojo's level during the main story, things changed in the sequel manga.
Gojo himself stated that Yuta would become a sorcerer on par with him, having experienced incredible growth despite having little time in the world of Jujutsu. Considering the rate at which he was growing, Yuta must have surpassed Gojo at some point in the more than sixty years following the end of the series.
Although Yuta already had more cursed energy than Gojo Satoru, it was revealed in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo that he spent years imbuing Rika's ring, to the point of reaching an unfathomable level. The number of curse techniques he may have copied over the years also gives him great combat flexibility to bypass Gojo's Limitless, such as Jacob's Ladder.
Dabura Karaba

Although Gojo represented absolute power in the series, in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Dabura took the role of the strongest. Dabura is a Deskunte warrior who protects the Rumelians, and it was said that even the title of Special Grade Sorcerer might not be enough for him. Moreover, Dabura is arguably the most talented sorcerer in the entire series.
In addition to possessing an insane amount of cursed energy (endangering Usami's life simply by attempting to use cursed speech on him), Dabura had never fought seriously in his life until his confrontation with Mahoraga. Although he initially struggled against Mahoraga, Dabura demonstrated an exceptional capacity for analysis and adaptability.
Dabura reached sublight speed and was able to deduce how to use the reverse curse technique during the course of the battle. He also applied the same reverse principle in his light technique to develop a new one based on darkness. However, his greatest feat thus far was unleashing his own domain expansion, having extraordinary potential to even overwhelm Satoru Gojo.
Ryomen Sukuna

A character stronger than Gojo is the one who actually defeated him, Sukuna. In addition to his slashing cursed techniques, the King of Curses has a high intellect and excellent battle sense to form strategies and overcome his opponents. That's why Sukuna sought the adaptive ability of the Ten Shadows Technique's strongest shikigami, Mahoraga, as a way to break Gojo's Limitless.
Sukuna's cursed energy manipulation is top-notch, being the only one with an open domain expansion, which is incredibly deadly with the way it launches physical attacks from all directions. Furthermore, although even Jujutsu Kaisen's creator revealed that Gojo lost due to carelessness, it's also true that they were very close in terms of strength.
Sukuna emerged victorious by closing the narrow margin that separated them with determination. So while Gojo was seen as an invincible figure, and there may be some credit in thinking that Sukuna wouldn't have been able to defeat him if he hadn't obtained Mahoraga, it's possible that the King of Curses would simply have thought about dealing with him in a different way.
Yuji Itadori

While Yuji Itadori showcased his immense potential by being able to dominate the reverse cursed technique and blood manipulation after eating the cursed womb death paintings, he became a real powerhouse during the fight against Sukuna. Besides his superhuman strength and ability to hit consecutive Black Flashes, Yuji unlocked a domain expansion.

As a result, Yuji became the top sorcerer on Earth in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, considered on the same level as Gojo. However, the fact that he hasn't aged for almost 7 decades allowed him to reach a scale of power greater than anything seen in the main series.
In Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, Yuji can target dozens of people with blood manipulation, and a simple dismantle is as devastating as Gojo's Hollow Purple and Sukuna's escape. Although Yuji was initially inexperienced, after years of hunting cursed spirits, he became a formidable entity, worthy of the title of Jujutsu Kaisen's strongest character.
