Goalie fight! Bruins, Lightning keepers square off in Stadium Series

It’s no secret Jeremy Swayman has wanted to fight in the past.

On Sunday, he got his wish.

With 8:59 left to go in the second period in the Bruins’ Stadium Series game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, a scrum occurred in front of Swayman after a save.

Swayman got involved with the skirmish to his right before he skated to center ice to meet Lightning goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy.

The scrap was brief before Swayman was taken down by Vasilevskiy.

Each goaltender received a five-minute major for fighting.

It marked the first fight of Swayman’s career.
