2026 JUCO offensive lineman Steven Moore commits to Florida State

Mike Norvell and the Florida State Seminoles added another commitment to #Tribe26 today. JUCO offensive lineman Steven Moore has flipped his commitment from Arkansas State to Florida State.

Moore is a 6-foot-5, 320 pound offensive lineman who plays for Garden City Community College in Bartlett, Tennessee. He is considered the 96th best JUCO player in the nation by 247Sports Composite (14th best OT, 21st best JUCO player in TN). His ranking jumped from an 82 to an 85 by 247 in one day after it was reported FSU was hosting him on an official visit.

Moore committed to the Arkansas State Red Wolves on November 25, but a late official to FSU quickly changed his mind. Florida State won out over an offer earlier this week from the Oklahoma State Cowboys and new head coach Eric Morris. He has a total of 22 offers from lower FBS schools and some FCS schools and took official visits to East Carolina, Western Kentucky, Charlotte, and Fresno State. Oklahoma State also offered him following his official to Tallahassee.

Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but Florida State is recruiting Moore as an offensive tackle despite him playing at both guard positions for most of his career. He’ll need to be ready to contribute quickly, as FSU will lose a significant amount of experience along the offensive line to graduation.
