Despite being one of the worst-rated TV shows of all time, Hulu’s All’s Fair has officially been renewed for season 2.
As confirmed by Hulu, All’s Fair has been greenlit for season 2 despite online criticism, leaving the show with a low rating of 3% on Rotten Tomatoes. Hulu confirmed the news on X, much to everyone's amazement. However, the star-studded cast and the cheesy dialogue have kept viewers hooked enough for All's Fair to return with vengeance.
The debut of All's Fair generated significant viewing numbers and had 3.2 million global views within its first three days, and became Hulu’s biggest Original scripted series premiere in three years. Many have described the experience as a "hate-watch" due to its campy plot and ridiculous fashion.
The series has a strong, star-studded female-led cast, including Kim Kardashian, Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash, and Teyana Taylor. The official synopsis is:
"A team of female divorce attorneys leave a male-dominated firm to open their own powerhouse practice. Fierce, brilliant and emotionally complicated, they navigate high-stakes breakups, scandalous secrets and shifting allegiances—both in the courtroom and within their own ranks. In a world where money talks and love is a battleground, these women don’t just play the game—they change it."

Hulu's female-led show thrived from the criticism and perhaps led the way for even more viewership due to its extremely low ratings. All's Fair is co-created and executive produced by Ryan Murphy, who is known for rocking the boat with outlandish and questionable material, which is a huge selling point for a show such as this.
Disney Entertainment Co-Chairman Dana Walden introduced Murphy to the Kardashians’ mother, Kris Jenner, and Murphy has stated, "It started because I said I really wanted to meet Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian. Dana facilitated a dinner, and I did something I’ve never done in my career, which was I brought a reality pitch."
Kardashian and Jenner reportedly didn’t enjoy Murphy’s "reality" pitch; the meeting led to Kardashian joining Murphy’s anthropological series American Horror Story and eventually leading the cast of All’s Fair.
Kardashian has made it no secret she is currently aiming to become a certified lawyer, but recently failed the California bar exam despite playing the hotshot lawyer, Allura Grant, on Hulu’s series.
Season one of All's Fair is still airing and concludes with a two-episode season finale on December 9.
