The New York Jets (3-9) may be closer to getting a premium pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, but the players and coaches on the field are still looking to win as many games as possible before the season ends. New York has had a rough season due to numerous reasons, but they had a chance of upsetting the Atlanta Falcons (4-8) and they seized the opportunity to win another game.

The Jets beat the Falcons 27-24 on Sunday thanks in part to a huge kick from Nick Folk who nailed a 56-yard field goal in the same game that he missed a 55-yard try. Quarterback Tyrod Taylor did a good game of keeping his composure in the face of Atlanta's ferocious pass rush and he provided the passing and rushing that the Jets had been hoping to get on a consistent basis from Justin Fields.

The Jets do not come away from this game without some warts as neither the run defense or the pass defense showed up against a Falcons team that was missing its best wide receiver in Drake London. However, New York's made the plays needed to win this game in the end. With that being said, here is the stock report for the Jets following Sunday's win over the Falcons:

Stock Up: QB Tyrod Taylor

The Jets have been looking for consistent quarterback play up to this point in the season and while Justin Fields has had his moments, it's clear that Taylor is ready to lead New York for the rest of the year. Taylor is never going to be confused for being one of the best signal-callers in the NFL, but his poise in the pocket and ability to push the ball down the field has been key for this offense.

Stock Down: WR John Metchie III

After how he played over the past two weeks, Metchie essentially being a non-factor has to be considered a letdown, especially when the Jets were able to move the ball with Adonai Mitchell. Granted, football tends to work in the way where one wide receiver will take advantage of the other drawing the majority of defensive attention, but Metchie is capable of being better than he was in this game.

Stock Up: LB Quincy Williams

Williams has been one of the key members of the Jets linebacking unit, but the way he played against a tough opponent in the Falcons, especially their passing attack. Williams was doing his usual work in the running game to make sure Bijan Robinson didn't run all over New York, but he also made some impactful plays in the passing game with his pass deflections.

Stock Down: Jets Run Defense

While Bijan Robinson is one of the best running backs in the league thanks to his unique combination of speed and power, the Jets run defense has been better this season, even without Quinnen Williams in the picture. Robinson was able to do whatever he wanted in the running and passing game so that will be an area for New York to improve upon as the season continues.

Stock Up: WR Adonai Mitchell

While Mitchell was once a heralded wide receiver due to the nature of him being selected with a second-round pick last year, his career has not progressed as many draft pundits expected. However, after his performance against the Falcons, Mitchell looks like he's well on his way to being a contributor for the Jets even when Garrett Wilson is able to get back on the field.

Stock Down: RB Isaiah Davis

Davis is clearly the backup to starting running back Breece Hall, but at one point, he looked like he could be counted upon to provide a change-of-pace to Hall. Since Davis' breakout game against the Cincinnati Bengals earlier in the season, he has been virtually nonexistent within the offense and even when the Jets come away with a win, Jets fans have to be wondering who else can emerge in the backfield with Braelon Allen out for the time being.
