Give me a lighthearted recap
The open world of Cyberpunk 2077 is already impressive, featuring a Night City so rich in detail that its scale caused several performance issues upon its infamously botched launch. Yet, over multiple patches, this game is filled with depth, from every street, billboard, and back alley of its dystopian environment. With one of the most impressive mods seen for this game to date, its visuals can get even better.
Nexusmod user haskeer212 has created a Photorealistic Reshade and Modlist of Cyberpunk 2077, bolstering its visuals and graphics. With the right PC hardware, you'll be able to run all Cyberpunk 2077's many features with nearly realistic detail, giving you a greater sense of immersion in Night City itself. Not every PC can run this mod, so only those with newer graphics cards and drivers are recommended to download this mod.
Cyberpunk 2077 Just Got A Gorgeous Graphics Mod
8K Visuals And Reshades Make Night City Shine
From the above video by Digital Dreams, you can see just how beautiful this mod can be, upscaling Cyberpunk 2077's graphics to 8k fidelity for maximum visual fidelity. The modlist includes multiple photorealistic reshades within its files, giving buildings and other structures a more natural appearance.
This mod was originally a Day 1 adjustment released back when Cyberpunk 2077's disastrous launch happened. While it was deleted for a time, it has returned in 2025 to work alongside multiple patches and updates for the game.
The sleek shaders in this mod also add to the lighting of the game, making vehciles and weapons pop more when you use them. The sun reflecting off the metal of a gun, the moonlight making the back of your car shine, and many more details are far more apparent with this mod installed.
Like many mods though, this one is not without its flaws. One common complaint is that this mod, while visually impressive, causing many parts of Cyberpunk 2077 to give off a slightly green tint, which might throw off some players. Additionally, the incredible demand this mod forces can only be done by a PC with hardware to back it up, such as a RTX 4000 series graphics card and similar high-end pieces, like a good motherboard or processor.
Night City Still Has Plenty Of Surprises
Better Visuals Make Quests And Exploration Easier

Even with many updates to Cyberpunk 2077 over the years, the nature of its open world visuals can cause you to miss out on aspects of Night City that aren't directly tied to quests. This mod's visual overhaul highlights certain sections of the city show up clearer, making some sections stand out more than they would have in the base game.
While not without bugs, and something you'll have to install into your game's files yourself, this mod is a great way to discover places you've never gone to before. The vast expanses of Night City have plenty of side quests, characters, and rewards for players who deeply explore the metropolis.
Multiple comments for the mod have instructions for how and where to download it if you decide to install it. Players that do apply this graphics overhaul will have to be careful not to crash their PC in the process, but those with the technical ability can experience a whole new world of Cyberpunk 2077.
