Elden Ring Nightreign, the co-op multiplayer spin-off/sequel to Elden Ring, the undisputed GOTY of 2022, has had its price cut to its lowest price in history on Amazon for Cyber Monday, and not only does that apply to both the PS5 and Xbox versions, but both the standard and Deluxe Edition are going cheaper than normal. It's the perfect time to grab Nightreign if you haven't already and were considering it, as we're just days away from the release of its first major DLC expansion on December 4 - "The Forsaken Hollows", which adds two new classes, new bosses, and a new map modifier for players to pit their might against.
The discount itself will vary a little depending on whether you buy the standard version (which $15 cheaper for Cyber Monday, down to $24.99 from its RRP of $39.99), or the Amazon Deluxe Edition, which is $20 cheaper than its usual price of $54.99, down to a mere $35. Speaking personally, I had a blast with Nightreign, which is an arcadey, roguelike spin on the recognised formula, in which up to three players sprint around fighting bosses and collecting treasure, trying to stay within an ever-shrinking map. At times it can feel like playing Elden Ring in fast forward, and while it's odd at first, it doesn't take long before you're having a great time, making this one of the best Cyber Monday gaming deals out there.

Elden Ring Nightreign | $39.99 $24.99 at Amazon Save $15 - Down to its lowest price ever at time of writing, this spin-off to Elden Ring is discounted just in time to enjoy the DLC coming out on December 4. You can also get the Deluxe Edition for just $10 more, for a more complete experience!
Our thoughts: Elden Ring Nightreign review
Buy it if:

Don't buy it if:
❌ You aren't a fan of FromSoftware or Soulsborne games

Speaking personally, Elden Ring Nightreign serves best as a kind of post-Elden Ring snack, the sort of thing to be enjoyed in bite-sized chunks after the heavier offerings of Elden Ring and Shadow of the Erdtree. This is lighter and far more fast-paced, structured around roguelike progression and shorter experiences, though it is still building off the combat and magic systems of Elden Ring itself. If you enjoyed those, you'll almost certainly like this, especially if you have friends who are playing it and with which you can cooperate.
