Michigan State football has officially suffered their first recruiting causality ahead of the early signing period this week, losing a defensive back prospect to Louisville.

Jordan Vann, a Middletown (OH) defensive back, has made the decision to commit to Louisville. A one time Virginia commit, the Spartans flipped his initial commitment, but have now seen him flip again.

A 6-foot-1, 200 pound safety, the uncertainty surrounding the MSU program caused Vann to look around, which landed him on Louisville. The Cardinals beat out Wisconsin for his flip.

Vann is a three-star prospect ranking as the No. 964 player nationally and the No. 90 safety in the class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
