Michigan State women's basketball has been in the Bahamas for the 2025 Nassau Championship - Junkanoo Division. After defeating Temple on Friday, the Spartans returned Sunday for the championship game against the Clemson Tigers.
The Spartans will be bringing hardware home with them back to East Lansing, defeating the Tigers, 72-64, in the championship game.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementDespite losing the rebounding and turnover battles in this game, Michigan State used a hot shooting performance to quell any upset attempts from Clemson. The Spartans shot 59-percent from the field and an astonishing 67-percent from three.
Kennedy Blair led the way for the Spartans with 22 points and 12 rebounds for a massive double-double performance. Rashunda Jones added 16 points and Grace VanSlooten added 15 points to the big win for the Spartans.
Michigan State will be back in action a week from Sunday when they open Big Ten play in Madison against Wisconsin.
