Created by Vince Gilligan, the new Apple TV sci-fi series premiered on November 7, and it's been quick to make an impact.
Pluribus is now four episodes into its first season, and Stiller has posted a simple message on X, formerly Twitter, revealing his thoughts on the slow-burn series. He names the show and includes a "raising hands" emoji after it, making it clear it's one he's enjoying. Check out Stiller's post below:
Stiller isn't alone in his praise for Gilligan's new show, which marks his follow-up to projects like Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Pluribus reviews have been glowing across the board from critics, and the show enjoys a stunning 99% on Rotten Tomatoes from 108 reviews.
Starring Better Call Saul's Rhea Seehorn, the series follows miserable author Carol Sturka as she becomes the last hope for humanity after a mysterious wave of forced happiness overcomes the planet. Karolina Wydra, Carlos-Manuel Vesga, and Miriam Shor, also appear in the show's nine-episode debut season.

In ScreenRant's own Pluribus review, Greg MacArthur awards the series eight out of 10, praising the unfolding of the mystery at the center of the story and the show's exploration of some compelling themes, even if the pacing is sometimes on the slower side. He writes:
One triumph of Pluribus is its keen observational lens of human nature and modern culture, even in the wake of a worldwide reset of consciousness. It taps into the visceral need for humans to protect themselves against perceived threats, even conceptual ones like change (for better or worse).
With general audiences, Pluribus also seems to be fairing well. The Popcornmeter score on Rotten Tomatoes is a respectable 78%, but this is obviously a step-down from the 99% critics' score.
Still, the positive response is a promising sign for Pluribus season 2, which is coming as part of the show's two-season order. Whether the series continues beyond that will seemingly depend on viewership, but the stage is set for additional seasons on Apple TV.
With Severance season 3 in the works and likely to arrive in 2027, the streamer could end up with two slow-burn sci-fi hits on its hands. Stiller's show trails just behind Pluribus on Rotten Tomatoes, sporting a 95% critics' score. These shows are in addition to series like Foundation, Silo, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, and Dark Matter, all of which are also popular offerings at Apple TV.
It remains to be seen how the reception to Pluribus will evolve as the remaining episodes of season 1 release, but Stiller's praise could give the series a boost given Severance's strong repuation and the anticipation for the next season.
