As any anime fan would know by now, One-Punch Man Season 3 has been having a really poor showing. However, this week, the anime sunk to a new low with censorship and more animation mistakes, majorly surrounding fan-favorite character, Captain Mizuki.

Fans had been waiting to see Captain Mizuki in action for years. While they knew the production quality for the series was really low, they expected the character to receive some limelight.

Unfortunately, the anime staff not only censored her outfit, but also gave her an extra finger during her big fight scene. Not to forget, the anime's latest episode hit rock bottom with a 30-second-long single-frame scene.

One-Punch Man Season 3 Censored Captain Mizuki's Outfit

One-Punch Man Season 3 is riddled with mistakes. However, the anime's latest episode, One-Punch Man Season 3 Episode 7, titled "Counterstrike," left fans with more questions than ever.

For starters, One-Punch Man fans had been waiting for Captain Mizuki to appear in the anime for a really long time. While she first appeared in the previous episode, her big fight scene was supposed to take place in this week's episode. As such, fans expected J.C.Staff to do her justice. Instead, the anime's staff censored her outfit.

As manga readers will know, Captain Mizuki is known to wear track briefs. However, the anime censored it, turning her briefs into shorts. While that is truly not an issue, the anime's opening theme song video showed her wearing the track briefs in the first two episodes, but later censored them to show her wearing track shorts.

Similarly, while the hero can be seen wearing her track shorts for the majority of the latest episode, she is seen donning her track briefs in one scene at 17 minutes and 36 seconds. The question is, did the anime's staff not finalize her character design before animating her? Is that why they missed out on censoring her outfit in the first two episodes and that one scene in the latest episode?

One-Punch Man Fans Are Keeping a Close Eye on Season 3 Mistakes

While the mistakes with Captain Mizuki's outfit may have been something that arose due to late decision-making, it does not justify the animation problems that were featured in the latest episode.

Captain Mizuki was supposed to have her big fight in the latest episode. As such, fans expected the anime to feature some decent animation. However, at 9 minutes 56 seconds, just as Captain Mizuki prepared for her "First Event: Pole Vault," the anime showed her with six fingers on her right hand instead of five.

To be fair, this scene was really fast and the moment passed by in an instant. Nevertheless, fans managed to catch it. This meant that they were no longer going to accept the poor production quality and were prepared to find and criticize all animation errors.

However, the criticism didn't stop just there, as fans noted how the anime episode's final moments used a single frame of the support team for a 30-second-long scene by panning the camera from top to bottom. As such, with such animation mistakes and tricks to save production budget, One-Punch Man has now officially hit rock bottom.
