“I really like the coaching staff and coach Fleck was a huge part of my decision. He made me and my family feel like a priority and coach Harbaugh did as well so I’m excited to grow and learn under both of them.”
Palmer said it was more than just football that appealed to him at Minnesota.
“Coach Fleck and coach Harbaugh have a plan in place for me on and off the field,” Palmer said. “It’s about personal development as well as football and that really appealed to me.

San Diego and Minneapolis is quite the contrast but Palmer said he’s looking forward to the change of scenery.
“The weather was so awesome when I was there,” Palmer said. “I want to experience something different than San Diego.
“Minnesota offers all four seasons, along with some awesome lakes and natural beauty. I’m excited for it and I know I’ll be very comfortable living out there.”
With Signing Day just a few days away, Palmer said he’s very thankful he was able to find a new home.

“I trusted in Gods plan for me and He put me in the best place for me. I’m super grateful for that and very grateful how everthing ended up the way it was supposed to.”
Palmer and his Cathedral Catholic squad just won the San Diego Open Division Championship on Tuesday in a dramatic come from behind victory.
The Dons were down 16-0 at the half but rallied to win 20-16, scoring all 20 points in the 4th quarter. Palmer was 13 of 21 passes for 251 yards and a touchdown.

Has a live arm and can get the ball out from different arm angles and is comfortable throwing on time or outside the pocket on the run. He’s a tough kid, a natural leader and has the makeup you love to see at the quarterback position.
