AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementAfter hearing little to no updates on Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry’s brother, Seth, potentially joining the team at some point this season for quite some time, the franchise has made a massive roster decision involving the 35-year-old guard.
The Golden State Warriors will unite the Curry brothers as initially planned by signing veteran guard Seth Curry to a contract for the remainder of the season, Monday,” ESPN’s Shams Charania reported Sunday.
“Seth Curry joined the Warriors in training camp, but was waived just before the season because of the team's financial restraints.”
“The Warriors are hard-capped at the second apron, which meant they could keep only 14 players entering the season to create enough prorated breathing space to add Seth Curry in the vacant 15th slot.”

Circumstances in the NBA change all the time, making it foolish to assume plans will never go awry.
Fortunately for the Warriors, there weren’t any last-minute changes that prevented them from agreeing to a deal with Curry in late November.
The Warriors' decision to bring Curry on board couldn’t have come at a better time, as the Dubs, connecting on 35.9% of their triples thus far, haven’t exactly set the nets on fire.
The Charlotte, North Carolina native shouldn’t have a problem elevating his brother’s squad’s perimeter production, as he’s been a high-level three-point shooter virtually his entire career (he’s only shot below 36% once).
