He wore a full Wolverine costume on live stream and promised cosmic karma for Ryan Day. On Saturday night, he faced the consequences—both in yard signs and in humiliation.

As Portnoy was fleeing his own stream after Michigan fell behind, Ohio State fans showed up at his home near Nantucket.

They planted a giant "Block O" flag on his lawn and covered the yard with signs that read: “Ryan Day lives here rent free” “Ryan Day is my Papa” “Portnoy’s Daddy = Ryan Day”

Portnoy shared the photo himself with the caption: “Whoever vandalized my home is lucky Miss Peaches is too kind to bite. The rivalry giveth. The rivalry taketh away.” He later told viewers: “They kicked our ass today... All good things must come to an end. Ohio State and Ryan Day—the only way we were gonna beat them is if they choked. They just didn’t.”

The trolling was quick, ruthless, and flawless.

“I had to leave the stream. People probably think, ‘Oh, he’s leaving.’ I had a flight I had to catch,” Portnoy said. “Obviously, if it was close I would have stayed. Listen, they kicked our ass today. Now, if the refs didn’t cheat on that touchdown and call that a touchback, do we put some pressure on them and they start feeling it? Maybe, but that would have been a miracle for us. So they were better in all three phases.

Portnoy has spent years mocking Ohio State and Day at every opportunity. Now, the Buckeyes are 12-0 and are heading to Indianapolis, while Portnoy’s yard looks like it belongs in a Columbus suburb.

The flag may still be up as of Sunday morning.
