Former Cincinnati Bengals receiver Cris Collinsworth, who commemorated his 500th career broadcast during NBC's Sunday Night Football game, is not in the booth for Cincinnati's NFL Week 13 game against the Ravens at Baltimore M&T Bank Stadium on Thanksgiving night.

Collinsworth and Sunday Night Football play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico indicated at the end of NBC's Buccaneers-Rams broadcast that Jason Garrett would replace Collinsworth in the booth on Thanksgiving.

Collinsworth is expected to return to the NBC booth with Tirico on Sunday.

"Are they gonna play Joe Burrow?" Collinsworth said Sunday night. "I mean he's back practicing, and he kinda makes a lot of the decisions there. You know? And you know Ja'Marr Chase is not gonna be too happy after having to sit out one. I mean, if they can beat the Ravens twice, right? It's a really interesting decision. I'll just say that. It would be hard for me to take the franchise quarterback and risk him … but they might."

Burrow told reporters Nov. 25 that the Bengals "pretty much have to win every game" in order to make the NFL playoffs.
