Chelsea have reopened contact with the representatives of AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan according to reports.
The Blues had the opportunity to sign Maignan in the summer, but weren’t prepared to get close to Milan’s valuation.

The goalkeeping situation is once again in the spotlight at Chelsea, and it was reported Jorgensen is considering leaving in January.
If Chelsea allow the Denmark international to leave then they would need to find a replacement to preserve their depth in the position.

However, it appears the Blues could be doing just that, and Sky Sport CH have reported Chelsea have reopened contact with the representatives of Maignan.

Maignan is out of contract in the summer, and the France international represents a great market opportunity on a free transfer.
Signing the Frenchman would also mean Chelsea don’t have to rush with the development of talented youngster Mike Penders, who they clearly view as their long term number one.
Robert Sanchez has improved this season
Whilst Chelsea could be looking to bring another keeper in, Sanchez deserves credit for his impressive start to the season.
