The New York Jets are turning one of their final pages of the 2025 NFL season.

In Week 13, the Jets (2-9) will host the Atlanta Falcons (4-7) at MetLife Stadium.

There have been a lot of changes in New York. We're seeing the results of those choices and the outcome against the Falcons will reveal even more.

Before we even get to kickoff, there will be a lot of Jets-related discussions and conversations to be had throughout the coming days.

With that, here are five storylines to watch for ahead of the Jets' against the Falcons in Week 13:

Another week of Tyrod

The Jets offense looked better on the eye against the Baltimore Ravens last week in Tyrod Taylor's first start at quarterback since Justin Fields was benched. It was still a loss and New York only mustered up 10 points.

Can the Jets offense put the two together against the Falcons?

Redemption for Breece

Realistically, the Jets were cruising to at least 17 points scored in Baltimore. That was going to be thanks to running back Breece Hall.

Then Hall fumbled at the Ravens' goal line after he led the entire way to get there. That was essentially the game being over for New York as well.

Can Hall from some redemption with the Jets offense against Atlanta?

Teams sliding have anything to play for?

The Jets and Falcons both have poor records. The one in New York needs little explanation. How about Atlanta's?

The Falcons are in a weird place. They've lost five-straight games for their 4-7 record. But because of the average play out of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-5) and the Carolina Panthers (6-6), they technically do have something to play for in the NFC South...

So can the Jets find reason for motivation against a team that should have plenty?

Facing Kirk Cousins

Adding a curveball to the Falcons: Kirk Cousins is starting his second-straight game at quarterback since Atlanta's younger option in Michael Penix Jr. went down for the season because of injury.

What will the Jets expect to see out of Cousins?

More run for the new and young

Plenty of players across the Jets roster are clearly starting to see playing time. Wide receiver John Metchie III second for a second-straight game last week, so he's a name to watch on offense.

On defense, what about Mazi Smith? The former first-round pick recently traded to the Jets from the Dallas Cowboys was inactive last week. Does he get back out there against the Falcons?
