As excitement builds for the upcoming second season of One Piece live-action series, fans worldwide are looking forward to its release on March 10, 2026. However, with the show securing an early Season 3 renewal in August 2025, the show's creators have already begun production for the next season.
As fans must recall, former Cobra Kai star Xolo Maridueña was cast as Portgas D. Ace earlier this month. So, with the production for Season 3 having begun, fans have been hoping for the show to give them a tease from the set.
While it may take some time before the show gives fans a first look at the actor's portrayal of Ace, Xolo Maridueña recently shared a BTS video with Luffy actor Iñaki Godoy, teasing his Ace debut.
Xolo Maridueña Shares BTS Video From One Piece Season 3 Set
With the production for One Piece live-action Season 3 having kicked off in Cape Town, South Africa, the cast members have arrived on set for their shoots.
As fans must remember, earlier this month, Xolo Maridueña was cast as Monkey D. Luffy's brother Portgas D. Ace. Ever since, given the character's popularity, fans have been eagerly waiting for the show to give them a tease.
While it may take some time before that happens, the actor has posted a BTS video with Luffy actor Iñaki Godoy from the set on TikTok, teasing his debut as Ace in One Piece Season 3.
In the BTS video, Iñaki Godoy can be seen joining Xolo Maridueña in the "Horses in the Stable" TikTok challenge. While their choreography seemed quickly put together, the TikTok video showcased their on-screen sibling energy, making it the perfect BTS video for all One Piece fans.

Lastly, One Piece live-action Season 3 will see some new cast members make their debut. Cole Escola as Bon Clay, Xolo Maridueña as Portgas D. Ace, Awdo Awdo as Mr. 1, and Daisy Head as Miss Doublefinger will all make their debut in the show's next season.
