LSU football continues to await a decision from Lane Kiffin, at least publicly.
Few know what's going on inside Kiffin's head. For all we know, he's already made up his mind. Perhaps he's still deciding. We'll find out this weekend, as Ole Miss AD Keith Carter said an announcement on Kiffin's future will come after the Egg Bowl vs. Mississippi State on Friday.

Yahoo's Ross Dellenger released a coaching carousel update on Wednesday morning and echoed the reports of recent days: LSU is still the favorite for Kiffin's services.
Here's what Dellenger had to say:
"While his decision has been made to involve three places — Ole Miss, LSU and Florida — signs continue to point toward one of those destinations.
Florida officials have started to pursue other candidates, and Ole Miss administrators have begun to reach out to potential replacement coaches — two signals of Kiffin’s possible intent. In Baton Rouge, things are mostly quiet as the program readies a multimillion-dollar offer for the coach."
Last weekend, details of LSU's offer to Kiffin were reported. The contract could near $100 million and make Kiffin the highest-paid head coach in the sport.
The coaching carousel is begining to heat up with schools filling their vacancies, yet LSU remains locked in on Kiffin. There aren't many other candidates being targeted by LSU, if any.
