COLLEGE PARK, MD − Here are the Michigan football members who helped their stock the most in the Wolverines' 45-20 victory over Maryland on Saturday, Nov. 22, at SECU Stadium.

Winners

RB Bryson Kuzdzal

Few players who start a career as a walk-on lead Michigan in a critical game with 20 rushes for 100 yards and three touchdowns. He became the fourth Michigan ball-carrier this year to have at least 100 yards on the ground, and have half (10) of his runs result in a first down or touchdown. Kuzdzal entered the game with 25 carries for 106 yards and one score for his career. He was particularly adept running behind the left side of the line, with half his conversions and two of his scores coming around the left edge, according to Pro Football Focus. He was the team's fourth-highest graded offensive player (71.2), per PFF.

Hometown heroes

There were a trio of defensive players making their return to the DMV. Derrick Moore, a captain and senior from Baltimore, had one a sack on fourth down to force a turnover on downs - and finished as Michigan's highest-graded player (89.0), per PFF.

Lineman Tre Williams, who went to high school at St. Johns in Washington, DC, had his first sack of his Michigan career on third-and-goal to force a field goal.

Linebacker Jaishawn Barham, a former Maryland transfer, had four tackles, each of which came either in the backfield or within 2 yards of the line of scrimmage. He had a sack on third-and-4 inside Michigan's 10-yard line to force a field goal, and a pair of run stuffs.

WR Andrew Marsh

Marsh, a true freshman, leads all Big Ten receivers in receiving yards since the start of October, right around the time he moved into the starting lineup. He had another nice day with five grabs for 76 yards and a touchdown on a contested 12-yard fade route on third down when he kept his concentration despite tight coverage. Marsh had two punt returns for 23 yards (nearly the amount Semaj Morgan had in 10 games in the role) and a 39-yard kickoff return, the team's best this season.

QB Bryce Underwood

After a week filled with turnovers and a month without a touchdown pass, Underwood completed 16-for-23 passes for 215 yards and two touchdowns while running eight times for another 20 on the ground. He spread the ball around with four receivers having 30 yards or more, took what the defense gave him which included checkdowns and throwaways. He had one turnover-worthy play, a near-pick in the first quarter, but brings momentum into Ohio State's fierce defense.

Sherrone Moore

Six weeks ago, the Wolverines looked underprepared and overmatched against USC. Instead, Moore put on a blue collar jacket and said it was time to work. Memes were shared calling it corny, but the Wolverines have won five consecutive games. Saturday was the most complete - no punts, no turnovers, special teams production and defensive dominance. Moore now has a chance to pull another shocker against the Buckeyes for a second straight year, but this time there's a College Football Playoff berth within grasp.
