Four-star running back Amir Brown commits to Nebraska

Nebraska football added a major commitment to the class of 2027. Four-star running back Amir Brown committed to Nebraska on Sunday evening.

Brown is the 21st overall running back in the 2027 class, and the 10th overall player in his class from the state of North Carolina per the Rivals Industry Rankings. He is the 274th overall player in the class.

Brown decommitted from the North Carolina Tar Heels on October 15. He initially committed to the program on August 3.

The running back has played in 13 games so far this season for Rolesville High School in North Carolina. He has 189 carries for 1,374 yards and 22 touchdowns.

Currently, the 2027 Nebraska football recruiting class is one of the best in the country. The class itself ranks presently fifth overall and second in the Big Ten per the Rivals Industry Rankings.
