Keystone Heights is the latest Northeast Florida high school football team to announce a pending head coaching change, after the end of Steve Reynolds' three-year tenure.
The athletic department placed a classified advertisement for a new head coach on Nov. 19 with the Florida High School Athletic Association. Keystone becomes the second of the seven Clay County schools to announce a vacancy, following Ridgeview.

Reynolds compiled an 8-23 record at Keystone, which qualified for the Class 2S playoffs in his first year but went winless in 2025 and has now lost its last 16 games dating back to a 14-6 victory over Dixie County on Sept. 20, 2024.
Reynolds had also served as head coach at Bradford and Oakleaf before his Keystone tenure.
In 2025, Keystone lined up against Alachua Santa Fe, Bradford, Newberry and Palatka in District 5-2A, but that alignment will change with the FHSAA's new reclassification for 2026 and 2027.
