Give me a lighthearted recap
Nearly a month after the release of ARC Raiders, the fifth Trial Week is already here, offering easier-to-farm challenges compared to the past couple rounds. If you've been keeping up with your ARC Raiders trials so far, you'll already be able to start accessing some of its higher-tier cosmetic rewards, but it's not too late to start even if you haven't.
As with the past weeks, you'll want to focus on completing all five of this week's trials on any of the three major map events currently available for their double trial XP gain, those being the Electromagnetic Storm, Night Raids, and Hidden Bunker, respectively. While none of this week's challenges have you doing anything as crazy as fighting a Matriarch, it's all the more reason to spend time farming far beyond their 3-star ratings.
Best Ways To Farm Damage To Rocketeers
Being one of the deadliest ARC enemies to try and fight alone, your best bet for taking down and farming Rocketeer damage will easily come from playing in a squad, although you will need to keep an eye out for other raiders trying to take advantage of you while you're distracted staring at the sky.
In terms of which map to farm this trial on, the central Launch Tower of Spaceport is a great place to start, with its 360 access to most of the map, and places to hide if you get in too much trouble, although the Pilgrim's Peak on the northeast side of Blue Gate is also a reliable spot.
Smoke Grenades and Showstoppers are also good choices if you get caught out of cover or get swarmed by other players while fighting.
Hullcrackers, the Jupiter and Heavy ammo guns are excellent choices for dealing quick bursts of damage against Rocketeers, but easily the most powerful tool is a Wolfpack grenade, with a well-aimed throw just above it being enough to take one down in a single hit, or incredibly weakened. Each defeated Rocketeer on a major map condition will net you a whopping 2600 points, meaning you only need two for its 3-star completion.
How To Download The Most Data During Hidden Bunker
Being the only trial this week with a limited cap, each Hidden Bunker only has a total of 8 terminals for you to collect, although you only need 5 for 3-star trial completion. Found from the major map condition, this trial requires anyone in the lobby to activate and defend three satellite towers, which will unlock several bunker doors to the east of the Fuel Processing location on the left side of the map.
While the doors will be heavily defended by ARC, you should be able to run past them into the bunkers fairly easily, after which you'll have to contend with other players trying to loot and rush the terminals. Thankfully, teamwork is heavily encouraged by the Hidden Bunker event, especially since an activated terminal can be claimed by anyone nearby for up to 15 seconds of completion.
Players often become more aggressive the longer a raid goes on or if they can catch a large group bundled together with grenades, making small groups in solo play the best choice for farming.
If you do show up late, you may see red beeping terminals instead, but all you'll have to do is wait a few minutes for it to reset or find a fresh one instead, after which you'll need to stand close by and wait for the timer to finish before you can collect it and move on to the other 7.
How To Farm Searching For First Wave Husks
First Wave Husks easily have some of the highest farming potential for this week's trials, especially on a Night Raid with maps like Spaceport having a plethora of ARC corpses just waiting to be claimed on the edges of the map away from any hot zones.
Regardless of which map you pick, it's important to keep in mind that you don't need to be the one to breach a First Wave Husk for the trial to progress, as searching through them after someone else counts too.
I would recommend bringing a good amount of adrenaline shots for this one, as running across the map can be very time-consuming or dangerous without them.
Even if the in-game images might make it seem like only Baron Husks would count, especially with how much XP they provide, any buried ARC corpses will count towards your score, which includes any half-buried Rocketeer or Hornet husks that you can find lying around each map as well.
Best Ways To Farm Damage To Snitches
Being even simpler than the First Wave Husks, Snitches spawn frequently on just about any map in ARC Raiders, with long-range heavy or medium ammo sniper rifles being your best friend if you have any available or Blueprints to craft them. Offering 600 points each, you'll only need to kill 7 for a 3-star rating, although longer map conditions like Hidden Bunker can offer even more time for farming.
Being able to be pulled in from taking any damage at long distances, you can easily spot Snitches on Night Raid maps thanks to their giant search lights, making high-up and easily defendable locations a great choice for picking them out of the sky, while avoiding ambushes from other raiders.
Best Methods Of Farming Damage To Ground-Based ARC Enemies
While going after Pops and Fireballs might seem like a safe choice, given how protected and predictable their spawning locations are, larger targets like Bombardiers, Bastions, and Leapers are a much better option for chipping away this trial's damage requirement, thanks to their much larger health pools.
Leapers are especially susceptible to farm damage from Firecell Burners and Blaze Grenades, while Bombardiers and Bastions have more obvious weak points for their leg joints and yellow canisters on their backs.
Given that damage XP is shared in a group, a well-equipped squad going after the groups of ARC roaming around the Hidden Bunker dynamic event entrances can make quick work of this trial, but the threat of getting third-partied by other raiders is much higher as a result.
If you're solo or willing to split up for the event, maps like Dam Battlegrounds with the Electromagnetic Storm effect are also great choices thanks to the abundance of powerful ARC enemies and reduced sightlines from other players.
As usual, high-penetrating weapons like the Hullcracker, Wolfpack grenades, and just about any explosives will come in especially handy during this trial, with the potential to farm far beyond its 3-star requirements if you know where to look for enemy spawn locations in ARC Raiders.
