Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt spoke with reporters recently during his press conference, reflecting on his rare fumble during the Week 12 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
“They (teammates) just told me to keep my head up, man, we’re going to get it back,” said Hunt, “We’re going to give it back to you, so just make the most of it, so I had to just think positive, and when I got the ball, I was going to run pissed off.”

Hunt showed his versatility in the game with three receptions for 26 yards to go along with his 100-yard rushing performance.
“Whenever my number is called, I just try to make the play,” said Hunt, “So, if that’s throwing me the ball (or) handing it (off), every opportunity I get, I try to make the most of it.”
The expected return of starter Isiah Pacheco should help Hunt with the occasional rest in between carries. A balance is needed for the Chiefs’ stretch run if they want to make the postseason.
