Craving a fresh hair colour but worried your strands will pay the price? Garnier’s Olia range offers a soothing formula that’s free from ammonia and packed with 60% nourishing oils. And best of all? It’s so easy to do.
This permanent, oil-based dye typically retails at a tenner, and doesn’t just deliver rich and radiant colour, but it also leaves your hair feeling smoother and glossier. It’s great for giving you a new look or concealing any grey hairs.
Not sure what colour to pick? Garnier has you covered with that too as you can use their Hair Colour Virtual Try On tool and test out the full spectrum of shades. From striking blondes to deep, rich reds, try before you dye.

Whether you’re a seasoned pro at dyeing your hair or a newbie, the process is super simple to follow. You just need to start by pouring the developer cream into the jar, adding the colourant, closing the lid, and shaking until fully mixed. Break off the applicator tip carefully and with your gloves on, apply the dye to dry, unwashed hair in small sections, starting at the front if you have greys.
Massage thoroughly to get every strand, and then leave to develop as long as the instructions suggest. When you’re ready, just rinse until the water runs clear and enjoy your brand new head of hair.
The glowing reviews all agree it’s a breeze to use, with Amy saying: ‘I’m really pleased with the results of this. It was super easy to use. The instructions were simple to follow. The dye itself doesn’t have the horrid ammonia smell, it was quite pleasant.’

Lindi couldn’t get over the shine of her hair, commenting: ‘Really nice colour on my pure white hair and my sisters commented on my hair looking so nice.It also leaves hair looking lovely and shiny and soft. The ingredients are very pleasant to use and very easy.’
Blonde can be a tricky colour to nail without a professional, but the reviews insist Garnier’s Olia gives you warmth without the brassiness.
‘Whenever you need a more natural looking blonde, this is the one to go for,’ Amy said, while Sophie said: ‘My hair became a beautiful shade of light blonde and it didn’t become brassy and looks natural.’
