How’d We Do Last Week?

Most Wildly Inaccurate

Im not sure there has ever been less of a sleepwalk first half for the Irish. In fact, it was the most dominant first half in ND history…..A historically bad take from our friend NDFanDan, which is welcomed given the circumstances. (GoldRushND had a very similar take so you’re not off the hook either)

Most Interesting

TBH, the least we could do is support the Orange in some way after that massacre. Also, this is more the annual “most interesting” award as cfarris182 brings the creativity….every….single week. And I appreciate that.

Most Accurate

I don’t care that this isn’t perfect. My man mentioned 70 points. 70!!!

Now onto the takes for the matchup between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Stanford Cardinal

Cold Take

Eli Raridon Touchdown (finally)

Raridon has had a very strong season, but somehow the 6’7 freak athlete has barely been targeted in the red zone on any sort of back corner/jump ball. This is the week we finally see it a-la USC from last year. Raridon will find the end zone in the first half, building confidence heading into the post season.

Hot Take

Defense once again goes ‘Belt to Ash’ and end the day with SEVEN+ sacks

Ash will bring pressure from all 3 levels to try and rattle the young QB, Elijah Brown. It turns into a feeding frenzy and we see great games from Joshua Burnham and Bryce Young. Stanford has struggled to run the ball all year and will need to throw to keep pace with the Irish…..and they pay dearly. I see a scenario with the game is competitive in the first half, only for the Irish defense to fully take over….which starts with QB pressures.

Your Takes: Please leave your takes below (hot, cold medium-any temp). I will feature the Top Takes next week. GO IRISH!
