Here's a new face at wide receiver. The New Orleans Saints held free agent tryouts for multiple position groups on Tuesday, and former Green Bay Packers wideout Samori Toure signed with their practice squad, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. He's listed at 6-foot-1 and 196 pounds, and has caught 13 receptions for 130 receiving yards and a touchdown in his 22-game career. He doesn't have much experience returning punts or kickoffs.

Toure played college football at Montana and Nebraska before the Packers picked him in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL draft. He spent last season with the Chicago Bears and was most recently a member of the Denver Broncos practice squad. A corresponding move is coming, but for now he's one of four receivers on the Saints' practice squad along with Dante Pettis, Ronnie Bell, and Jha'Quan Jackson, who signed just last week.

Chris Olave, Devaughn Vele, Mason Tipton, and Kevin Austin Jr. are still on the 53-man roster. Trey Palmer is eligible to return from injured reserve whenever he's healthy, while Ja'Lynn Polk will have to wait until 2026 to be activated.
