Rebecca Ferguson hasn’t had the most ideal start to the year with her new sci-fi thriller, Mercy. She co-stars opposite Chris Pratt in the film, which fared poorly at the box office, grossing less than its reported budget. The film recently arrived on VOD platforms like Prime Video in America, and it’s slowly but surely redeeming itself on streaming. Ferguson is also known for her acclaimed role in the Apple TV original sci-fi series, Silo, which has aired two successful seasons to date and has two more on the way. Many fans felt she deserved an Oscar nod for her performance as Lady Jessica in a pair of Dune movies from Denis Villeneuve, but her role in the third and final movie has been reduced to a single scene.

Three years ago, Ferguson stepped into one of her most iconic roles for the final time, Ilsa Faust. She played the character several times opposite Tom Cruise in the Mission: Impossible movies, but she was killed off in Dead Reckoning. The decision still remains controversial to this day, so much so that fans expected her to come back from the dead in The Final Reckoning last year, but she was ultimately left out of the film entirely. In America, Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning has been streaming on Paramount+ for over two years now, but the film recently debuted on Netflix, and it’s already climbing streaming charts. The film grossed $571 million globally against a reported budget of around $300 million, and it earned scores of 96% from critics and 94% from audiences on the aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes.

When Does ‘Silo’ Season 3 Come Out?

Apple TV has yet to announce when Silo Season 3 will be released, but it has been confirmed to air before the end of this year. Seasons 3 and 4 of Silo were also filmed back-to-back, which should allow for a much smaller gap between seasons than the two years between Seasons 2 and 3. Ferguson will also be busy with a supporting role in the aforementioned Dune: Part Three, and she’ll team up with Andrew Garfield for The Magic Faraway Tree. The fantasy film will premiere in select theaters on March 27, and it recently debuted its first trailer.
