More than three decades after its theatrical debut, the film still sits near the top of must-watch lists because its craft and moral weight have aged without losing impact.
The timing also underlines just how durable the movie’s legacy has been. Released in 1993, Spielberg’s Holocaust drama stars Liam Neeson as Oskar Schindler and went on to become both a critical landmark and a major global box-office success. Its cast ensemble also includes, but isn’t limited to, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Kingsley, and Caroline Goodall.
Schindler’s List is scheduled to begin streaming on Peacock on March 1, 2026, giving the 33-year-old masterpiece a fresh streaming entry point for a new wave of viewers and rewatchers. The film, over three decades ago, raked in over $322 million worldwide on a modest $22 million budget, making this catalog addition potentially a lucrative addition for the platform. On Rotten Tomatoes, Schindler’s List still holds a towering 98% critics' score and 97% audience score.
What Else Is Coming to Peacock in March 2026
Peacock’s March 2026 slate is a pretty broad mix of originals, big movie drops, and NBC/Bravo staples. The headline premieres include Ted Season 2 (March 5), It’s Dorothy! (March 13), Wicked: For Good plus sing-along/commentary versions (March 20), and Bambi: The Reckoning (March 27). That’s not all, though. On the library side, March 1 brings a heavy movie batch, including Schindler’s List, Fight Club, John Wick: Chapter 4, Promising Young Woman, Lost in Translation, The Big Lebowski, and both Ted films.
There’s also a strong unscripted/live-TV pipeline with Top Chef Season 23, Vanderpump Rules Season 12, The Real Housewives franchises, Law & Order / SVU, Chicago Fire / Med / P.D., and Saturday Night Live episodes flowing in through the month.
