Calvary Day trailed by three, 27-24, at the half. In the second 16 minutes, the Cavaliers outscored Long County 31-17.

With the region title, the Cavaliers will be a top-8 seed in the GHSA 3A-A Private boys basketball state tournament bracket.
The seeding means they are guaranteed a home game in the first two rounds, if they are triumphant in their opening round matchup.
The state tournament starts on Feb. 25.
