We're gonna go as far as he takes us... Up until this point, he has been the face of the franchise, and in my opinion, that means he should be in the conversation," Johnson said on SiriusXM.
Moving forward, Johnson and the Spurs will want to see Wembanyama stand out as a superstar. They will build the system around him, and he will reciprocate because Wemby knows that he is the star player who will propel them to title contention.
