Assassin’s Creed Shadows is officially working together with Attack on Titan, delivering a limited-time, high-stakes, and action-packed experience. A preview of the iconic crossover promises to blend the anime’s intense battles with the signature stealth and precision of Assassin’s Creed, delivering fans of both franchises something truly epic.
This collaboration between the two iconic and beloved franchises will introduce new missions and exclusive content that mixes Assassin’s Creed’s dark, immersive environments with unforgettable settings found in Attack on Titan. The crossover experience won’t be around for long, but it’s an experience that anime fans and gamers can’t miss out on.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows Is Officially Collaborating With Attack on Titan
Ubisoft has dropped a teaser trailer for its latest collaboration between Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Attack on Titan, giving fans a first look at what’s coming. In the latest Assassin’s Creed installment, Shadows, the story centers around two protagonists, Naoe and Yasuke, in Japan's Sengoku period or the late 16th century.
On November 25, players who have unlocked Yasuke will be able to take on a new quest in an in-game crossover event, leading them into Attack on Titan’s familiar Crystal Caves. To begin the quest, players must travel to the Yamashiro region, north of Hanazo Tower, to find the quest giver. Ubisoft has shared:
“With a kidnapped Titan-Shifter as their weapon, a mysterious, power-hungry faction has infiltrated feudal Japan, setting their sights on total domination.
But when an attempt to rescue the Shifter fails, the lone survivor (with a dark secret) recruits Naoe and Yasuke to help her stop the group from unleashing the terror of a Titan on Japan.”
The quest takes Naoe and Yasuke to the same cave the Reiss family used for generations to pass down the Founding Titan. There, the two Assassin’s Creed protagonists must investigate a “terrifying experiment” and take on “a monstrous enemy,” possibly hinting at a boss battle against a Titan.
The Attack on Titan Mission Is Only Available for a Limited Time
Starting from November 25 to December 22, players can take part in the free in-game quest. Upon completion, players will earn a crystal katana for Naoe, customizations for their banner, and any items that are found hidden throughout the area.
Alongside the limited-time event, Ubisoft is offering a range of themed items for purchase, including an Attack on Titan Duel Pack available for in-game purchase. This pack will include various Attack on Titan-themed outfits, including Mikasa Ackerman’s for Naoe, trinkets, weapons, and a new Survey Corps mount.
The Attack on Titan x Assassin’s Creed Shadows crossover is a must-play for fans of both universes, and it won’t be around for long. With intense battles, exclusive missions, and themed rewards, the limited-time quest will offer a thrilling and immersive experience that gives players the unique opportunity to experience two epic franchises in an unforgettable adventure.

Set during Japan’s Sengoku period, two distinct protagonists—Naoe, a shinobi, and Yasuke, a historical African samurai—must navigate political intrigue and violent clashes between the Assassins and Templars. Players can switch between stealthy, shadow-based gameplay with Naoe and Yasuke’s direct combat approach, exploring the duality of their missions in a beautifully rendered open world.
