Tennessee added a commitment to its 2026 football signing class.

Three-star defensive lineman JJ Finch flipped his commitment from Alabama to Tennessee on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-3, 260-pound prospect is from Warren Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 63 defensive lineman in the class and No. 5 player in Indiana.

Tennessee offered Finch a scholarship on April 24, 2024. He visited Tennessee five times, officially on June 13 and most recently for the Vols’ football game against Oklahoma on Nov.1.

Alabama offered Finch a scholarship on Jan. 10. He officially visited Alabama on May 30 and committed to the Crimson Tide on June 22.

Indiana was the first school to offer Finch a scholarship on May 5, 2023. Other Power Four schools to offer him scholarships include Louisville, Notre Dame, Michigan, Illinois, Kansas, Vanderbilt, Oklahoma, Washington, Penn State, Wisconsin, Missouri, Michigan State, LSU, Ohio State, Cincinnati, Miami, Kentucky, Florida and Colorado.
