Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator speaks out after home vandalized

Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo is speaking out after someone vandalized his home with eggs.

His comments came as the Birds returned to the practice field after Friday's deflating loss to the Bears.

"As coaches and players, we all know that part of our job is to handle criticism. It's perfectly acceptable to sit up here and talk about what's going on, how to fix it, what we're going to do going forward. We know that," he said.

"But when it involves your family, it obviously crosses the line," he continued. "And so that happened, and at this point we've just got to move on."

The New Jersey home of Eagles offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo was vandalized with eggs early Saturday morning, following the team's loss to the Bears, police said.

Police have confirmed that video of the vandalism posted on TikTok is now part of the investigation.

Patullo's home was vandalized early Saturday morning after the Eagles lost to Chicago on Friday.

Moorestown police say the FBI reached out to them with a request to provide periodic checks of Patullo's home.

Patullo, 44, has been under scrutiny amid the Eagles' offensive woes this season. The highest-salaried offense in the NFL ranks 24th in yards (304.8 per game), 23rd in passing (196.3 ypg), 22nd in rushing (108.5 ypg) and 19th in scoring (22.5 ppg).

Patullo has been on the Eagles' staff for the entirety of coach Nick Sirianni's tenure. He was promoted from passing game coordinator and associate head coach to offensive coordinator this offseason to replace Kellen Moore, now the head coach of the New Orleans Saints.

Sirianni reiterated during a conference call with reporters Monday that Patullo would remain the Eagles' play caller following a weekend of evaluation.

Philadelphia has lost two straight and now is 8-4 entering their Week 14 game at the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday, Dec. 8.
