Daniele De Rossi is keen to reunite with one of his old Roma midfielders at Genoa in January, but the Rossoneri are yet to make a final decision either way, Football Italia expert Alfredo Pedullà reports.
De Rossi wants to bring Roma’s Pisilli to Genoa
Niccolo Pisilli hasn’t had much of a chance at Roma during the first-half of the 2025-26 season. The 21-year-old midfielder wants to avoid a situation where he ends up spending the second half of the season sat on the bench as well.

Importantly, however, the Giallorossi have not yet made a decision on whether or not to make Pisilli available for a loan move during the January transfer window. A final decision will only be made once Roma have completed their strategic planning ahead of the window.

Genoa hope, meanwhile, that they can capitalise on De Rossi’s excellent relationship with Pisilli in order to push a deal through.
