Many Pokémon are expected to be added in Pokémon Legends: Z-A's Mega Dimension DLC, but some may have been hinted at through different promotions. While we already know some Pokémon are returning, such as Baxcalibur and Corviknight, Hoopa is the only confirmed Legendary from the extra content's trailers. With new Mega Evolutions being included too, any hints about other legends could be impactful on the DLC's story.
The Mega Dimension DLC for Legends: Z-A is set to release on December 10, 2025, but players can purchase it ahead of time on Nintendo's online shop. While the DLC gets closer, different groups in Japan are promoting its content, such as the Pikachu Sweets Pokémon Cafe located in Tokyo, Japan. A special menu themed after the DLC is giving fans delicious hints at what Pokémon might be included in the game's expansion.
Pikachu Cafe Is Getting Kyogre & Groudon Donuts
Two Iconic Legendary Pokémon Are Presented In Scrumptious New Forms
Pokémon Pikachu Sweets Pokémon Cafe Red and Blue Donuts from Mega Dimension Legends Z-A menu
According to an article from Gamespot and an official post from the Pikachu Sweets Cafe, both Kyogre and Groudon are being added to the themed DLC menu as specialty donuts. The Greek "omega" and "alpha" shapes for Groudon and Kyogre, respectively, are the forms of two sweet pastries, which are both colored after the Pokémon they represent.
The two iconic Pokémon from Hoenn's weather trio have always been popular Legendary creatures that fans adore. These Pokémon are most known for being on the cover of the feature-rich Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, which evolved the series into its third Generation. Alongside Pokémon Firered and Leafgreen, these games and their Legendary box art Pokémon still capture the hearts of many players.
Simply called the "Red Donut" and "Blue Donut" on the Cafe's menu, these items are paired with two unique drinks themed after Gulpin and Hoopa. The Groudon inspired donut is said to be strawberry and tea flavored, while Kyogre's blue pastry is said to have a banana and lemon taste. This menu is set to release the same day as the Mega Dimension DLC does, on December 10, 2025, lasting until March 1, 2026.
Are Kyogre & Groudon Heading To Legends: Z-A?
Two Menu Items Might Be A Tease For The DLC

The biggest question on fans' minds about this promotion is whether Kyogre and Groudon will come to Mega Dimension in Legends: Z-A. It's possible that both donuts are teasing Groudon and Kyogre as new Legendary Pokémon in the game, but nothing is confirmed right now.
One of the DLC-themed menu items from Pikachu Sweets Pokémon Cafe is "Hoopa's Mischief Ruby Chocolate Frappé," which refers to a Legendary Pokémon being added to Legends: Z-A through the extra content.
With Mega Evolution confirmations for Mega Dimension dominating the conversation around the DLC, this promotion might be easily overlooked. However, the menu and DLC going live on the same day could provide a strong hint towards Kyogre and Groudon's confirmation, considering how the rights to either Pokémon's appearance as food would likely have to be approved by Nintendo first.
Regardless of whether this hint leads to anything, including Kyogre and Groudon in promotional material implies that other Legendary Pokémon could make it to the spin-off game eventually. With only a few staples like Mewtwo and Zygarde in Pokémon Legends: Z-A right now, the ability to hunt for more Legendary creatures would be welcome in the game's DLC.
