Happy signing day eve husky fans. The Huskies flexed some recruiting muscle today when 4 star wide receiver Jordan Clay from San Antonio Madison HS, TX flipped his commitment from Baylor to UW. The Huskies were able to secure his commitment after hosting him for an official visit 2 weekends ago, and then again for an unofficial this last weekend. Listed at 6’3” and around 200 pounds, Clay is the the type of big bodied wide receiver the Huskies need to add to their wide receiver room with the likely loss of Denzel Boston. Rated by 247sports as the 17th best wide receiver in the country, Clay is a massive target who has the ability to be a physical presence early for the Huskies. Husky fans may see a lot of similarities to former Husky Rome Odunze when they watch his clips.
Clay is the 3rd wide receiver commit for the Huskies in the 2026 class and should be able to come in early and compete for playing time. Being able to land such a highly ranked player from Texas shows that the Huskies can go toe to toe countrywide with most schools. Husky fans please welcome Jordan to Montlake.
