Thielen and Aaron Rodgers have plenty of experience with one another, as they were divisional rivals when Thielen was at the height of his career with the Vikings, and Rodgers was playing for the Green Bay Packers. Now, both veterans in the twilight years of their respective careers are now teammates.

Thielen should add a boost to a lacking wide receiver corps that has not impressed through the regular season. So far, DK Metcalf leads the group with 605 yards and five touchdowns. Beyond that, no other Steelers pass catcher has over 300 yards.

Theilen only has 69 yards this season, but the last two seasons have shown that he can still contribute in a big way. He picked up 1,014 yards and four touchdowns in 2023 with the Carolina Panthers, and managed 615 yards and five touchdowns in 2024 despite suffering a hamstring injury.

Now, Thielen can become a premier target for Rodgers and the Steelers as they are neck-and-neck with the Baltimore Ravens at 6-6.
