No. 2 Indiana football quarterback Fernando Mendoza no longer sits alone atop the Heisman odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
Mendoza is now tied with another quarterback, Vanderbilt star Diego Pavia, at +160 apiece. Pavia’s odds improved toward the beginning of the week and he leapfrogged Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin, who now sits at +195 to win college football’s highest honor for an individual player.

The problem for Pavia and Love is that voting closes at 5 p.m. on Monday, December 8, which will factor in the results from Saturday’s Big Ten Football Championship game between Mendoza’s Hoosiers and Sayin’s Buckeyes. Pavia’s Commodores fell shy of a bid in the SEC’s title game and Notre Dame is without such a game to play in.
