There's no denying that Magic: The Gathering isn't exactly the cheapest hobby, especially if you delve into Universes Beyond, but right now there are some pretty big discounts on Play Boosters which make the price-per-card ratio of some big sets really low.
Case in point: the Play Booster for Avatar: The Last Airbender is now $60 off at Amazon in one of the more noteworthy discounts, given that the set only came out earlier this year. These bundles are always good value, with the 420 cards included costing roughly $0.05 at the MSRP, but with the discount we're seeing the price go down to just $0.03, which makes it a fantastic Cyber Monday MTG deal.

Magic: The Gathering - Avatar: The Last Airbender booster box | $209.70 $149.68 at AmazonSave $60 - This MTG play booster is only cents off its lowest-ever price. It nets you 30 packs, or 420 cards, which will give you a great chance at ticking off most of the 414 in the set.
UK: £114.95 £128.95 at Magic Madhouse
View DealEach booster for Magic: The Gathering includes 14 cards, one of which will be a Traditional Foil style card and 1-4 of which will have Rare or higher rarity. The booster pack includes 30 boosters, for 420 cards in total. At $149.68 for the set, it equals about $0.07 for every two cards.
The Avatar: The Last Airbender deal is great, but it's not the only one available right now. For another 2025 set, you can pick up the Final Fantasy bundle below, which goes for even cheaper:

Magic: The Gathering - Final Fantasy booster box | $209.70 $129.99 at AmazonSave $80 - This 420-card super-booster is down to its lowest-ever price, making each card cost you just $0.03. That's an absolute bargain for anyone who wants to collect the Final Fantasy set.
UK: £209.99 £174.99 at Gathering Games
View DealShould you buy Magic: The Gathering Play Boosters?
For any Magic: The Gathering collector, the play boosters can be a great way to kick-start your collection for any set, with the 420 cards bound to tick off loads of the list. So if you're new to any particular set, it's certainly the way to go.
As our MGT Avatar: The Last Airbender explainer describes, this set does an amazing job at adapting the bending of the franchise to the card game, and with 420 sets, you'll almost certainly have all the cards to create versatile decks.
However the Play Booster isn't your only option and it may not be appropriate for all buyers. For Avatar: The Last Airbender, there's also the Collector Booster Box ($455.99 $399.99 at Amazon) for rounding out the corners of your collection, the Jumpstart Booster Box ($167.76 $118.75 at Amazon) with magic and Land cards, and the Bundle ($69.99 $62.94 at Amazon) for starting your play sessions.
It likely goes without saying that these sets aren't the only ones discounted over Black Friday too, so if it's another Universes Beyond set that piques your interest, shop around to see what you can see. And by 'shop around', I of course mean check out our guide to the Cyber Monday Magic: The Gathering deals.
