Sevilla star Isaac Romero has on Monday taken to social media, to issue an apology to the club’s fanbase.
This comes after the attacker was shown a red card during yesterday’s El Gran Derbi.
Sevilla are for their part fresh off another disappointing weekend, which saw the Nervionenses put to the sword by two goals to nil at the hands of arch rivals Real Beti.

The 25-year-old, however, only succeeded in ending any Sevillan hopes of a comeback, in being shown a straight red card late on.
With the dust having now settled on the result, Romero, in turn, has sent an apology message the way of his side’s supporters.
Taking to his official Instagram account on Monday (as cited by ABC), the Spaniard wrote:
‘I apologize for what happened yesterday. Sometimes things don’t go as planned, but I’m sure I’m going to give my club everything it deserves.’
