After a decent hiatus throughout the majority of the 2010s, the Jonas Brothers reunited in 2019 and have enjoyed some steadily growing success in the 2020s. It's tough to say whether they will achieve the level of fame and success that made them the boy band of the early 2000s (that is, until One Direction came along), but if their 2025 has been any indication, matching their initial peak once again is surely not out of the question.

2025 has been the biggest year for the Jonas Brothers in their new era, with the release of their latest album, Greetings from Your Hometown, the subsequent tour, the first show of which saw a guest appearance from fellow early 2000s Disney Channel royalty, Demi Lovato, and a return to acting with their Disney+ Christmas film, A Very Jonas Christmas Movie

While the momentum has been building collectively for all three brothers, all three of them are capitalizing on it to the fullest extent possible. The youngest Jonas brother—not counting Frankie, the fourth brother, who is not actually in the band—Nick, has just announced his newest solo album, Sunday Best, set to release in February 2026.

Sunday Best Is Nick Jonas' First Solo Album In Five Years

Of his new album, Nick Jonas explained, "I’m so excited to share these new stories, candid thoughts, quiet walks home in the city, and snapshots of my life over these past few years. And while this album was made over the course of the last two years, it was truly 33 years in the making." As any long-term fan of the Jonas Brothers knows, Nick isn't one to shy away from tough conversations in his lyrics, what with his personal reckoning, "A Little Bit Longer," back in 2008.

Jonas' new album will feature a handful of noteworthy collaborators, from Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter JP Saxe, to Josette Maxin of acclaimed pop trio, MUNA. Sunday Best also comes at a time in Jonas' life when his tough conversations are much different than what they once were; where he used to write about his health struggles as a teenager diagnosed with Diabetes, Jonas now writes about his life as a husband and father.

With the start of the two-month countdown, and the Jonas Brothers tour still in full swing, it stands to reason that the brothers' 2025 momentum will certainly carry over into the new year. Given his new album coming in February, Nick is the first brother to keep that wheel turning in 2026.
