Graysen Bollech, Grafton football

Bollech kicked himself into the Grafton football history books during the Black Hawks' first state football title victory since 1982. The senior kicker drilled a 35-yard field goal with just 6 seconds left in regulation during Grafton's 17-15 victory over Reedsburg in the WIAA Division 3 state title game.

Ryan Heiman, Arrowhead football

The senior sprinter and star wideout had one of the most memorable plays in Arrowhead football history during the WIAA Division 1 state title game against Bay Port. Heiman returned a kickoff 76 yards for a touchdown with 35 seconds left in regulation to give Arrowhead an 18-15 lead during the Warhawks' first state title game victory in 12 seasons.

Natalie Kussow, Arrowhead girls basketball

There's a new all-time leading scorer not just in Arrowhead girls basketball history, but on the school's all-time scoring leaderboard for the boys and girls programs. On Nov. 22, Kussow helped lead the Warhawks to a dominant 88-44 victory over Manitowoc Lincoln in the season opener for Arrowhead. The University of Minnesota recruit tallied 24 points in a win, eclipsing 2,000 career points and passing current UW-Green Bay guard Mac Wrecke as the school's all-time leading scorer.

Esmé Loomans, University School of Milwaukee girls hockey co-op

Loomans was a goal-scoring machine for the USM co-op in its first two games of the season. In the opener Nov. 21 against Cap City, she tallied two of the Wildcats' four goals in a 4-2 victory. The next day against the Madison Metro Lynx, Loomans scored four goals and assisted on a fifth goal during USM's 5-2 win.

Jack Nelson, Grafton football

As he did throughout much of the 2025 season, Nelson was a total workhorse for the Black Hawks. In their 17-15 victory over Reedsburg in the D3 state title game, Nelson carried the ball 30 times for 167 yards and scored both of Grafton's touchdowns to help the Black Hawks win the gold ball in their second trip to state in the last three postseasons.
