Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams has put together a solid season through the first 12 games this year, rushing for 868 yards and seven touchdowns on 4.7 yards per attempt and catching 24 passes for another 184 yards and three scores.

On Sunday against the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium, Williams rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown in a losing effort. However, his performance moved him past Les Josephson (who rushed for 3,407 yards from 1964-74) and into eighth on the Rams' list of rushing leaders.

That's pretty remarkable considering this is really only Williams' third season as the lead back and he only played 12 games during his Pro Bowl year in 2022.

Williams will likely pass Dan Towler (3,493) for seventh next week against the Arizona Cardinals, and if he scores a touchdown, he'll tie Dick Bass (34) for the sixth most rushing touchdowns in franchise history.
