The New York Giants (2-10) and New England Patriots (10-2) will square off on Monday Night Football in a Week 13 matchup at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
Opening the week, the Giants were listed as 7.5-point road underdogs, and that's where the spread remains as of this writing.

The Giants pose a threat up front, and the Pats OL is quite banged up -- what adjustments will be made to help protect Drake Maye?
McElroy: Vederian Lowe will work in for the injured Will Campbell, and Ben Brown will step in for Jared Wilson in this game. But let's be honest, there is concern among the fan base for a reason with those two holding up on the left side. Lowe struggled badly last season with penalties and pass protection.
He told MassLive's Mark Daniels that he played nine games with a torn labrum last year. Even if that was the case, his ability to protect Maye and not commit bad penalties will be put to the test quickly in this matchup. Maye needs to help himself by being aware of pass rushers and getting the ball out quickly.

I'm going with Stefon Diggs here. Kayshon Boutte is a serious, deep threat receiver, and Maye has a cannon for an arm. But given the offensive line issues, I am not so sure that Maye will have enough time in the pocket for plays to develop downfield. That's where a savvy, veteran playmaker like Diggs should find openings and feast on short passes in the slot -- a Josh McDaniels specialty.
The Pats are on a nine-game winning streak and boast the NFL's best record. Is there any possibility they overlook the lowly Giants and fall into the dreaded "trap game?"
There is no chance they will overlook the Giants with Mike Vrabel as the head coach. He has had the team dialed in throughout the season, which is the very reason why they have been so successful. They will take the Giants as seriously as any opponent they have faced all season. With that said, I believe the Giants are a much better football team than their record indicates, and they could present some legitimate problems on Monday.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementWe miss Tommy. What has the Tommy Cutlets experience been like for New England?
There hasn't been much of an experience with Tommy DeVito, and that's probably a good thing because it means Drake Maye has been able to stay healthy. DeVito is the third-string quarterback behind Maye and Joshua Dobbs, so his opportunities have been limited. He did say he hopes the Patriots blow the Giants out in the game. That's a solid headline going into a revenge matchup he won't get to play in.
Monday night under the light -- how do you see the game playing out and who wins?
I see the potential for an upset in this game with Jaxson Dart returning, and the Patriots being seriously wounded along the offensive front. There's also the fact that the Patriots have had 12 straight games. The team is tired at this point in the season. However, I am still leaning toward New England eking out a hard-fought win at home.
Give me the Patriots, 27-24.
